Summative Assessment: Virtual Leadership Presentation (USPS)

For this assessment, you will develop a presentation outlining a comprehensive redesign proposal for the United States Postal Service (USPS) selected during Week 1, applying modular, networked, or agile structures. The presentation will address the challenges and opportunities of virtual and hybrid work models and recommend strategic initiatives to foster innovation, resilience, and inclusive leadership.

Create a 14- to 16-slide presentation, with speaker notes or narration, in which you outline your comprehensive redesign proposal. Address the following in your presentation:
Organizational Overview
Describe the current organizational structure at the United States Postal Service (USPS) and strategic priorities, including the extent of virtual or hybrid work adoption.
Structural Redesign Proposal
Propose a new structure using 1 or more of the following:
Modular design
Networked teams
Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework [SAFe])
Justify your design based on organizational goals and future-of-work trends.
Strategic Initiatives for Innovation and Resilience
Recommend initiatives to enhance adaptability, creativity, and long-term resilience. Include leadership development, cross-functional collaboration, or digital transformation strategies.
Virtual and Hybrid Work Considerations
Develop strategies to foster trust, safety, and equity in distributed teams, including tactics for strengthening team cohesion and communication in remote settings.
Implementation Roadmap
Outline a phased plan for implementing the redesign. Include key milestones, stakeholder engagement, and success metrics.
Support your presentation with 3 to 5 scholarly sources, peer-reviewed journals, citations, and references .
Format peer-reviewed journals citations and references for any sources and images used to support your presentation in accordance with current APA 7th edition guidelines. Include a reference slide.
