For each case study:
- Write a short observation of the teacher in the video.
- Using the pedagogical approaches and teaching practices in weeks 3 and 4, identify, outline, and assess the teacher’s engagement in pedagogical approaches and teaching practices. Provide explicit annotations where these are evident in the videos and written observations.
- Critically reflect on the video and justify the selection of an additional three (3) pedagogical approaches and teaching practices that could be included to enhance the learning opportunity for the children.
Pedagogical Documentation and Curriculum Plan
- Use the case study videos to create pedagogical documentation and a one (1) week curriculum plan that utilises play and play-based learning to extend on the development, learning and wellbeing of the child/ren and the pedagogic and teaching skills of the early childhood teachers.?
- Ensure the detailed pedagogical documentation and curriculum plan include the following:
- Clear progression throughthe Early Years Learning Framework Planning Cycle (AGDE, 2022, pp.25-28).
- Play-based individual and group-based learning opportunities.
- Coverage of and links to all the curriculum learning areas
- Links to the Early Years Learning Framework principles, practices and learning outcomes.
