Future superintendents need to understand the School Board's role in determining school district policies.
You must attend (online if you wish) a school board meeting to observe and reflect. Please obtain an agenda for the meeting. Please state your opinion about the meeting, including relationship dynamics between board members, board members, and the Superintendent and the public and board members/Superintendent. This should be a thorough reflection.
I have attached an observation sheet to help guide the structure of your paper.
Your grade will be based on:
· Connecting your observations to the text readings -30
· Agenda and observation sheet attached – 10
· The thoroughness of paper (please limit to 2 pages)- 40
· Grammar/spelling/format – 20
