Advanced Levels of Clinical Inquiry and Systematic Reviews

The Assignment (Evidence-Based Project)

Part 2: Advanced Levels of Clinical Inquiry and Systematic Reviews

For this PowerPoint presentation, please DO include the usual Title Page/Slide, Introduction, Conclusion, and References pieces; these are required! These may be brief, but still must be present! Please DO use your first slide as your Title page so that your name, date, etc. are noted on it! These APA pieces/sections do not count as a slide among the 6—7 slide limit, please do not worry about going over the stated limit by adding them!

So, for your PPt.: Create a 6- to 7-slide PowerPoint presentation in which you do the following:

Identify and briefly describe your chosen clinical issue of interest.
Describe how you developed a PICO(T) question focused on your chosen clinical issue of interest.
Identify the four research databasesthat you used to conduct your search for the peer-reviewed articles you selected.
Provide APA citations of the four relevant peer-reviewed articles at the systematic-reviews levelrelated to your research question. If there are no systematic review level articles or meta-analysis on your topic, then use the highest level of evidence peer reviewed article.
Describe the levels of evidence in each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, including an explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews for clinical research. Be specific and provide examples.

As you can see, you may use all systematic reviews…OR…use the highest level of evidence in articles that are not systematic reviews but that are peer reviewed articles! Please use as many systematic reviews as you are able that are directly related to your topic of interest! Other articles, as explained above are also okay to use. Please also be sure to include an explanation of strengths as to using systematic reviews…even if all of your articles are not systematic reviews!

Please let me know if you have questions remaining and I will address them! You can all do this well! I have seen your work by now, and I have faith in each of you as to your abilities!

My area of interest is psychology, specifically the rising number of cases of anxiety disorders in adolescents and young adults. Anxiety disorders are widespread mental disorders, and untreated anxiety may have a detrimental impact on academic progress
