Chapter 14: Student Activity
Choose one of the following groups and prepare a presentation (which mean you should be presenting as if you are inside of the classroom–voice recording should be embedded into presentation, if you are using PowerPoint) addressing the following:
- Describe the topic and its importance in developing family literacy partnerships.
- Discuss specific ways teachers can implement the assigned topic.
- Discuss importance of the topic relative to meeting the Common Core State Standards.
Groups/Topics to Choose: connecting the classroom to the family, establishing successful programs and activities, and family involvement initiatives.
