For the Unit 8 Assignment, you will accomplish your end goal of creating an ethical intervention plan (Individualized Service Plan). As human
service professionals, we are responsible for providing ethical and effective interventions that serve the needs of children and families. In order to do
so, we must also examine the scope of practice guidelines required of us to ensure that we are operating within the bounds of our expertise and
training. By adhering to these guidelines, we can promote our client’s safety and well-being while also upholding our profession’s ethical standards.
In this context, it is important to apply ethical reasoning to the issues we encounter within our field of study to ensure that our interventions are
grounded in justice, beneficence, and non-maleficence principles. In this Assignment, you will create an Individualized Service plan for your case
study and examine and apply the National Organization of Human Services Standards (NOHS).
To create your Individualized Service Plan, refer to the Mind Map you completed for your Unit 4 Assignment and the below example of an
Individualized Service Plan. Then, use the Unit 8 Assignment Template  to create your Individualized Service Plan and respond to the questions
included.

1. Alan’s connection with his online friends can be utilized to build his
support system and strengthen his social skills.
