Part 1: In your own words, define leadership, management, and followership in nursing. Provide one concrete clinical example from your RN experience for each role, briefly describing the situation and outcome.

Part 2: Describe a clinical situation where a nurse demonstrated two or all three roles simultaneously. Which two roles do you think overlap most often in everyday nursing practice, and why? Using your self-assessment from this module, reflect on which role feels most natural to you and which is your greatest area for growth.

Part 3: Identify a current nurse or healthcare leader (at your organization, within your state nursing association (Florida), or at the national level) and differentiate the leadership qualities from the management qualities they demonstrate. How does this leader influence others beyond their positional authority, and how do followers shape their leadership in return?
