neighborhood. As a leader, it is your
responsibility to address issues related to
diversity within your platoon and to ensure
that the needs of all employees are
accommodated in an appropriate manner.
Recently, you received an email from
Paul Flannigan, a 35-year-old officer
who has been with the department for
six years. To your surprise, you learned
that Paul is transgender and now prefers
to be called Paige. Paige is concerned
about how fellow officers and others in
the department and the community will
