The final assignment for this course is a risk assessment of one of the 16 critical infrastructure sectors within one of the CISA RegionsLinks to an external site., described by the United States Department of Homeland Security. The region that you select must be different from the region that you selected in your Week 4 presentation assignment. The purpose of this risk assessment assignment is for you to culminate the learning achieved in the course by proposing an assessment of the technological, natural, and intentional risks and threats to a critical infrastructure sector. The risk assessment should address tribal, federal, state, and local interests in the management of the risks to critical infrastructure.
For this final paper, you will take on the role of a Protective Security Advisor, as a member of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, working in Critical Infrastructure AssessmentsLinks to an external site., within the United States Department of Homeland Security. In this role, your objective is to engage tribal, federal, state, and local, interests and government partners, and members of the private sector for critical infrastructure sector protection.
