Part 2: Become a Relationship Researcher (30 points)
Now investigate each of your three predictions.
For each factor, find at least one credible online source or research article that discusses its relationship with marital or
relationship satisfaction. Then explain:
1. What did the research find?
2. Does the evidence support, partially support, or challenge your original prediction?
3. Was there anything about the finding that surprised you?
Use credible sources such as peer-reviewed research articles, university websites, government sources, or established
professional organizations. Avoid relying on social media posts, personal blogs, or websites that do not provide evidence for
their claims.
10 points each*3 = 30 points
Part 3: Reflection (5 points)
After completing your research, answer:
If a friend asked you, "What should I look for if I want to have a happy marriage someday?" how would you answer them now?
Explain one thing you would tell them based on what you learned from your research.
Sources (3 points): At the end of your essay, provide the links or citations for the three sources you used. You do not need
to use perfect APA formatting, but I should be able to identify and locate each source.
Important: The goal is not to find three sources that prove you were right. Sometimes research may challenge what you
originally believed. That is part of the assignment
