Assessment Details

Aims & Objectives

This assessment will help you understand and explain psychological perspectives on emotion, including their applications in multicultural settings and across various disciplines within virtual and non-virtual contexts; it will also help you examine psychological theories and concepts and enhance your communication skills.

Task Requirements

You will be given a series of titles and asked to choose one (1) to prepare and present in front of your peers using PowerPoint. Your presentation will be followed by questions from the audience; you are asked to provide a clear and succinct answer.

Structure and Coherence

Introduction, main body, and conclusion. Detailed information will be provided in class (and PP slides on Blackboard) as part of the preparation session scheduled in week 8.

Criterion 2: Discipline Knowledge. You will be marked on your ability to examine and apply psychological theories, concepts, and facts in expressing, sharing, and communicating emotion virtually and non-virtually.

Criterion 3: Interdisciplinary Perspectives. This criterion will consider your ability to investigate and apply perspectives on emotion from different disciplines in multifaceted scenarios.

Work as a whole: This criterion will consider detailed information and a clear answer to the question, as well as the use of academic resources, scientific evidence, and correct referencing throughout.
