CSR, Sustainable Development and Public Policy
Task A: Write an individual reflective essay on CSR, Sustainable Development and Public Policy. This essay will be a reflection of how your own understanding, thoughts, beliefs and values changed (positively or negatively) on these issues while attending this module.
Task B: Write a case study of a company or an issue or a country or a region on a topic of your choice related to CSR and Sustainable Development and associated Public Policy issues and policy debates.
Task A:
you need to demonstrate your understanding of CSR, sustainable development and associated public policies, and application of this, by drawing on personal and/or professional life experiences and perspectives developed on the topics while attending the module.
This is a piece of reflective writing and you may write in first person. You may choose to use a Reflective model to frame your work eg Gibbs, Rolfe, Driscoll or others
You may choose to reflect on some very narrow topic/issue (such as organic products or plastic pollution) or very broad issues (such as climate change) but you need to relate it to your own understanding and perspectives developed.
What do you think you have gained from the module and how your own thinking and personal development has been or may be altered or changed, either positively or negatively.
Your reflection must be embedded in literature and referenced appropriately with academic literature. Based on lectures, classroom discussions, reading of literature and materials and blackboard engagements, the assessment is for you to demonstrate the achievement of the learning objectives of the module.
