Students are required to produce an online portfolio that includes set exercises and activities using a Microsoft Word template provided on the module’s page on Moodle with specific tasks for students to complete throughout the classes. This portfolio should reflect the student’s engagement with the weekly module content.
The module material aid students in the development of building their personal brand for sustainable employment. Students should apply their learning to the health and social care context.
Students are required to complete a portfolio consisting of seven structured tasks, designed to support the development of their personal brand and employability skills for the health and social care sector. These tasks are integrated into lectures and guided by in-class content and materials.
The portfolio encourages reflective and proactive engagement with key themes such as professional identity, communication, resilience, and career planning. Students are expected to apply their learning to the health and social care context, drawing on theory, models, and examples discussed in taught sessions.
All seven tasks must be completed, and the final portfolio submission should total approximately 2,000 words (+/-10%).

For their submission, students are required to use a Microsoft Word Document, which should include the following:
a) A cover page
b) Evidence of learning throughout the set tasks and may include visual, audio, and written formats.
c) A reference list, following the University’s Harvard Referencing style.
A template is provided on the Moodle VLE and is recommended for use.
General Submission Guidance for this Assessment:
1. All written submissions must include a title page that clearly states your name, your student number, the module code and title, and your assignment title.
2. Written submissions should be typed in Arial font, size 11 with 1.5 line spacing and justified text alignment.
3. The assignment should have an appropriate structure, include page numbers, with subheadings, and written paragraphs to divide the sections.
4. The UWTSD’s Harvard Referencing style should be applied for all in-text citations and references in your assignment.
